Tech Great Inventions of Amron Experimental http://liamisbig.com/tech-great-inventions-of-amron-experimental/ http://liamisbig.com/tech-great-inventions-of-amron-experimental/#comments Thu, 09 Aug 2007 08:21:08 +0000 liam http://liamisbig.com/tech-great-inventions-of-amron-experimental/ Somehow all these inventions are really interesting, but I don’t see any million dollar ideas. Well okay maybe the toothbrush…

Anyway here’s a few in no particular order:

    The Brush N’ Rinse:

This is a tootbrush that actually redirects the water from the sink upwards, so you don’t have to lean forward under the sink or use a cup. All you have to do is put it under the faucet and BAM!

    The Die Electric:

This one is just an insulating wall plug you can stick into things so you can use an outlet like a hook. There’s some very interesting uses for it, like the toothbrush holder (to hold your brush n’ rinse maybe?) and the off hook (a hook for a light switch that’s in the off position):

    The iLEVL:

Attach this to your Mac and you can stick papers on it! It makes them on eye level, hence the name. It connects with a >non-slip protective rubber coating.

    Single Tear "Tear Down":

Put your paper towels on this thing, and you can easily tear off pieces with a single hand!  The user pulls slightly downward for a perfect single-handed tear, every time.

    Spoon Buoyant:

The spoon that rests on liquids! Useless yes, but interesting.

    Girly Slap Fights are Fun! http://liamisbig.com/girly-slap-fights-are-fun/ http://liamisbig.com/girly-slap-fights-are-fun/#comments Sat, 04 Aug 2007 03:59:09 +0000 liam http://liamisbig.com/girly-slap-fights-are-fun/

Test your slap fighting skills in this crazy Japanese slap fighting game. I only beat it on easy, but that was enough for me. There’s also another weird game on the site, Death Village, but I didn’t understand it at all!

    Flexible OLED display http://liamisbig.com/flexible-oled-display/ http://liamisbig.com/flexible-oled-display/#comments Fri, 03 Aug 2007 04:22:13 +0000 admin http://liamisbig.com/flexible-oled-display/

    From gadgettastic.com:

"Appartenly one of the problems with current flexible OLED displays, get to hot which makes them hard to manufacture.
LG Philips plans to get around this problem with their water and oil based display, which would used plastic electrodes to create the pixels.

The opaque oil would float on the water and obscure a colored surface beneath — when an electric charge was applied to the field it would reveal the surface and change the color of the pixel.

Apparently this new process is a lot simpler and cheaper than current flexible OLED displays and could possibly bring these displays to mass market at a reasonable price."

There’s not really a "right" way to spell apparently, appartenly. None the less this looks like amazing stuff. Hopefully this technology will let me read the newspaper and play DotA at the same time.
