Flexible OLED display

From gadgettastic.com:
"Appartenly one of the problems with current flexible OLED displays, get to hot which makes them hard to manufacture.
LG Philips plans to get around this problem with their water and oil based display, which would used plastic electrodes to create the pixels.
The opaque oil would float on the water and obscure a colored surface beneath — when an electric charge was applied to the field it would reveal the surface and change the color of the pixel.
Apparently this new process is a lot simpler and cheaper than current flexible OLED displays and could possibly bring these displays to mass market at a reasonable price."
There’s not really a "right" way to spell apparently, appartenly. None the less this looks like amazing stuff. Hopefully this technology will let me read the newspaper and play DotA at the same time.
